On September 30, Seibu Shibuya closed its doors, bringing its 58-year history to an end.

Since opening in 1968, Seibu Shibuya had been part of the Shibuya landscape for many years.

Ahead of its closing, messages reading “THE LAST 9.30 WED” and “Thank You, Shibuya.” appeared around the store, drawing the attention of many people passing by.

The window displays also featured messages sharing memories of Seibu Shibuya, reflecting the many different memories and connections people had with this place over the years.
