At SCG DAYs 2026, held on March 1, 2026, a variety of regional cultures from across Japan came together in Shibuya Center-Street.

From Akita, visitors were able to enjoy the Namahage Taiko performance.

Combining the powerful presence of Namahage with the resonating sound of taiko drums, the performance brought Akita’s unique cultural charm to the streets of Shibuya. Its dynamic energy vividly expressed the appeal of regional culture.
